Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim inside a gray 2022 Honda Accord parked on Russell Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was later identified as Steven Coan of New Bedford.
Emergency responders transported him to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he was sadly pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.
